If you love pizza but want to add a healthy twist to it, then this is the pizza after your heart. Not only does it incorporate those healthy ingredients but it tastes unhealthy, giving you the best of both worlds.
Try it for yourself to see just how good greens on a pizza can taste, plus the prep isn’t so bad, either!
The recipe makes 4 servings and takes just under 20 minutes from start to finish!
Heat your oven to 450 degrees. Place the spinach in a microwave safe dish. Sprinkle it with salt and pepper to taste, add in the water and cover with plastic wrap. Pierce holes in the top to vent and put it in the microwave on high for around two minutes. Drain.
Mix up the garlic powder and ricotta in a bowl. Place the crusts on an ungreased baking sheet and then spread half of the ricotta mixture on each of the crusts. Top the pizzas with the mozzarella, spinach, and parmesan. Drizzle the tops with olive oil.
Place in the oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese is completely melted. Cool slightly before serving.
